How sleep is related to health?

Health is a very important part of our life. One can say that there is no precious thing in this world as health is. To take care of personal health is a problem in a fast moving life. Most of us don't have time time to take care of it and hence suffer in longer run. 

Sleep and health are deeply related to each other. Most of the people think that sleep is not concerned with mental and physical health. However, it is now proved that those people who do not sleep properly become stressed with time. Nature has made human body such that it recovers all of its energy during sleep. It also repairs damaged tissues and ensures that our body is in perfect condition. 

Sleep also gives us mental satisfaction as our mind although does not sleep yet get some rest from stressful thoughts. So a sound sleep keeps our body healthy and fit both physically and mentally. So all of us who wish to be in good health must not perform work every time. Instead we must have good sleep to ensure that our body remains fit in long run.
